Notes The author was known in the past as Ibn al-Aqba'i (Abu al-Fadl, Abu al-Fa'id, Izz al-Din), an astronomer. He was born in Cairo, grew up there, and was temporarily appointed to the Al-Mu'aydi Mosque. Among his works are: Al-Durr al-Manthirataat fi al-Muqantarat al-Rub' al-Muqantarat, the means for students to extract works by arithmetic. He picked the flowers while working on the quarter arches, and arranged the contracts in making the hours to stand still. Picnic Consider working with the sun and moon. The author arranged it into an introduction, 15 chapters, and a conclusion.
