Notes	He explained his book (Summary of the Key), which is a summary of the third part of (The Key to the Sciences) by Siraj al-Din Yusuf bin Abi Bakr bin Muhammad bin Ali al-Sakaki (d. 626 AH). On its margins and between its lines are numerous footnotes and explanations in the Ijaza script, and at the beginning there are benefits and disclaimers in rhetoric, some of which were quoted from the words of Husam al-Din Hassan al-Kati (d. 760 AH).
Sample Text	Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and His blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his entire family. After this, this is a book on the science of rhetoric and its consequences. I translated it with clarification and made it in a brief order, which I called a summary of the key, and I expanded the statement so that it would be like an explanation of it. I explained its problematic areas and detailed its general meanings, and I proceeded to what the key left out of the words of Sheikh Abd al-Qahir al-Jurjani in his two books, Evidence of Miracles and Secrets of Rhetoric, and to what was easy for me to consider.
