Sample Text Praise be to God, who is kind with His creation, and thanks be to God, generous in His provision... As for what follows, when I saw that most of the charitable places endowed in Damascus, the Levant, had vanished, and some of them had lost their splendor for days, and the areas were obliterated. I was given the opportunity to begin collecting biographies that were full of mention... So, our Sheikh Muhyiddin Abd al-Qadir bin Muhammad al-Naimi al-Shafi’i had preceded me in collecting that, and there was no clear path left in comprehending it... He had drafts so far, so I asked him to clarify them.
