Notes An annotated copy, with red lines placed above the names of the plants, and in the library of Shahid Ali Pasha No. 2069 pages [34/B-51/B], and in the Hagia Sophia library No. 3699 pages [37/B-89/B], and in the Baghdadli Wehbe Library No. 1410 pages [151-247] copies of this letter, and he wrote on the front of the copy in Hagia Sophia: “The seventeenth article on the arrangement of individual medicines Tablets according to their powers, actions, and benefits, compiled by Abu Saeed bin Ibrahim al-Muttabbab al-Maghribi from his book titled Treasure of the Wise and the Demand of Doctors and Scholars, and in Baghdadli Wahbi: Professor Abu Saeed bin Ibrahim the Moroccan physician said in his book titled Treasure of the Wise and the Demand of Doctors and Scholars: “This is what I wrote down for some of my brothers to be a companion for them in travel and a friend in the city, and I called it the Tablets.”
Sample Text Praise be to His Guardian, and blessings be upon His Prophet. This is a message about arranging individual medicines into tablets according to their powers, actions and benefits, related to organs, diseases and humours. Each tablet includes many individual medicines with different properties that have similar powers and actions, so that the knowledgeable doctor will have a reminder whenever he tries a disease and finds all the beneficial medicines written on his tablet.
