Notes
A very brief book on Shafi’i jurisprudence by Imam Abu Shuja’ al-Hussein bin Ahmad al-Isfahani al-Shafi’i, who died in the year 488 AH. Among his commentaries are “Fath al-Mujib” and “The Chosen Saying,” and our book is a footnote that its author commented on these explanations.
Sample Text
After the basmalah, praise be to God, a praise that rewards His many blessings, wards off His wrath, and rewards more of them. These are footnotes on Fath al-Mujib, and the chosen saying in the explanation of Abu Shuja’ which is called “al-Taqrib” and the purpose of brevity, a footnote to what is in the many other footnotes.
