Manuscript written by the author; A copy with comments and corrections in its margins, and two pages before the front of the book came a tribute to Ibn Kamal Pasha: “He was proficient in what he reported, and meticulous in what he achieved. The poor person gave him praise to the rich and exalted Ahmed bin Suleiman bin Kamal.” The last paper included the phrase: “The honorable interpretation has been completed, the thin servant and the weak servant, may God make my immortal on the third day of the blessed month of Rajab Al-Marjab in the year nine hundred and thirty-seven in the abode of safety in Constantinople.”
