Notes An illustrated copy of a handwritten copy in the British Museum’s bookcase (including a photocopy that was in Abbas al-Azzawi’s bookcase in Baghdad. Today it is in the library of the Iraqi Museum in Baghdad). No. (Add. 7336 P. 6523). The footnotes contain a number of comments in a comment line. - Mahmoud bin Othman bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Nafi al-Hanafi al-Rahbi: jurist, historian. He took over the fatwa in Hilla. See about it: (Zaydan: “History of Arabic Language Literature” 3: 230), (Brockelmann, 2: 373-374), (Dictionary of Authors, 12: 179). See about “Beit Al-Rahbi”, their origin and lineage: (No. 1/Hisba and Kharaj, vol. 3). Suleiman Pasha is: Minister Suleiman Pasha the First. He was called (Abu Laila) (Abu Samra) and (Dulus Al-Layl). He was one of the most distinguished people of his time. He was described as brave and capable of administration. He was the son-in-law of Vizier Ahmed Pasha, the former governor of Baghdad, and Katkhada. He was appointed governor of Baghdad, then Basra, and the state granted him the rank of minister, in the year 1162 AH (= 1761 AD). In the fourth chapter of this book, the author only discusses “The Minister Suleiman mentioned.” As for the three chapters, they have nothing to do with Minister Suleiman. The first chapter contains “a mention of the Persian kings” and discusses four classes of them. The second chapter: “Mention of various kings,” which contains 35 chapters. The third chapter is “concerned with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace,” and it contains three chapters. - A copy in the Qadiriyya Library in Baghdad, included in a collection, serial 2/1201. Suleiman Pasha... than to collect his beautiful descriptions and great virtues, in a history published on the pages of time..., his mention includes his virtues and characteristics and the length of his loyalty and the loyalty of his late father Hassan Pasha, in Baghdad, And the date of his death, and what happened during his time of the siege of Baghdad..., and I called him the Joy of the Brotherhood in mentioning Minister Suleiman. It is organized into an introduction, four chapters, and a conclusion
