The author wrote the manuscript when he was a judge in Damascus (he served as judge from the year 971-974 AH, then he was removed and given the position of judge of Egypt. See Judges of Damascus 329), and it consists of an introduction and two articles. The copy contains many comments and explanations, written by Sheikh Ibrahim, Secretary of the Fatwa in Damascus.
