Notes
A small book. The author mentions that when Sultan Moulay Suleiman intended to travel from Fez, he chose Moulay Abd al-Rahman ibn Hisham as his governor. He demonstrated his concern, competence, and justice. When Suleiman died, the leaders and notables chose Abd al-Rahman to succeed him in the kingdom, calling for goodness, justice, and watching over the interests of the Muslims. The author notes in his book, in particular, the interest shown by Moulay Abd al-Rahman in supporting peace and justice, persecuting unjust workers, and isolating those of them who crossed the borders. Truth and justice, and then he dismissed the governor of Doukkala and imprisoned him, as well as the governor of Tangier, and he fought all the sects outside the regime, and those who were aggressors of money and lives, such as the Berbers of Ahwaz, Meknesa and Hashtouka, and he fought them and restored security and justice to its proper place.
