Notes "It is a quintet of stringed poems in praise of the best of creation. It is twenty-nine poems according to the number of letters of the alphabet, considering the letter L is a thousand letters among them. Each poem is composed of 21 lines, and this is the number of stringed poems, and hence its name was stringed poems. It was composed by Jamal al-Islam Majd al-Din Abi Abdullah Muhammad bin al-Rashid Abi Bakr Muhammad bin Abi Bakr bin Rashid al-Waez al-Baghdadi al-Shafi’i. He died in the year 662. The beginning of the first poem: I pray A prayer that fills the earth and the sky *** for the one who has the highest exaltation.” The copy has been read, corrected, and compared to other copies. The names of the letters of the alphabet and the last quincunxes are written in red.
