Notes It is a book on the history of Raqqa and biographies of those who lived or lived there, including the Companions of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, the Successors, the hadith scholars, and the jurists. The author made it in three parts. In the author's era, Raqqa included two towns, namely Raqqa and Al-Rafiqa, whose construction continued in the era of Al-Rashid, forming one town called Raqqa. It may be said that the companion is the two companions. This copy was written from the copy of the Dhahiri Treasury in Damascus, which was written by Muhammad bin Daoud bin Ayyub al-Sarmi in Cairo in the year 630 AH/1232 AD, from a copy bearing the Ismaa of al-Hafiz al-Salafi in the year 573 AH/1177 AD, and on the Dhahiriyya copy, Isma`a Ali Badr al-Din Abd al-Rahman Ibn Yusuf Ibn al-Tufayl al-Dimashqi in the year 631 AH/1233 AD.
