Notes Sections of the manuscript: The manuscript consists of a very large group of titles whose subject revolves around the eye, its diseases, and its treatment, such as diseases of the cornea, iris, superficial keratitis, retinitis, albuminuria, diabetes, and mycelia. Then it talks about the eyelids, the tear duct, then tumors and diseases that affect the eye. This part ends with a talk about the attachment of the eyelids to the eyeball, and the book is a continuation that is not available in the library. The author wrote his name in many places in the manuscript, and it is most likely that the author relied on some foreign sources, as we see the names of some foreign doctors in many places in the manuscript. There are also many crossing out of some lines and phrases, and at the beginning of the manuscript is an index that includes the topics of the book. He has a catalog of medical materials called “Umdat al-Muhtaj” in the sciences of medicine and treatment, published in Bulaq in the year 1278 AH, contentment with what is printed, p. 452.
Sample Text In conjunctival apremia, that is, its congestion: Anatomical symptoms: If the eyelid of a person suffering from conjunctival apremia is turned, the first symptom that is seen is this abnormal congestion of this membrane. In the space between the meibomian glands, vessels pass, some of which come from conjunctival vessels, the seat of the mucous sac, and they direct more or less straight towards the edge.
