As for what follows, these are words that I collected in explaining the differences in the revelation of the Qur’an and its extension, explaining the verses of the Qur’an, their virtues, their differences, and their agreement, and mentioning the number of its verses, its beginnings, and its lasts. Then I mention in each surah the number of its words, its letters, its fifths, and its tenths. Many of the proven and trustworthy Imams have mercy on their predecessors and forgiven their successors.
