Praise be to God, the First through His inner being, the Last through His appearance, and prayers be upon the pole of the poles of the circles, and the inheritor of the knowledge of the first and the last, Muhammad and his family and companions are the keys to the treasures of names and remembrances. As for what follows: I have had the opportunity to explain the greatest verse in the Qur’an in an interpretation that includes the appearance and the inner parts, for the people of the apparent and the formal to quote from it, and to verify the people of the hidden and the revealed.
