It is considered one of the largest historical books, and it is said to contain 21 volumes. The author arranged it according to the years, starting with the first year of the Hijra until the end of the year 700 AH. He divided his book into seventy classes, making each class ten years. He arranged the names mentioned in each class according to the letters of the alphabet, and in this book he combined annals and obituaries. He gave more importance to obituaries and biographies than to the importance of incidents. This copy includes a volume of the book starting from the year 452 AH - 500 AH / 1060 AD - 1106 AD.
