An interview was delivered to the mother from whom it was transferred on the afternoon of Sunday 10 Dhul-Qi’dah in the year 1231 AH at Al-Asadiya School. Its internal titles are in the margins in a relatively large font and in black ink, followed by: Zad al-Musafir, Imad al-Hajj and al-Za’ir, Ali ibn Umar ibn Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Qadi, in much of folio 87-177.

After the basmala and al-Hamdala, as for what follows: This is a book of venerable status, mighty in understanding, that we have written for those with insight and understanding who are qualified to look into the subtleties of the sciences, and this book of ours includes clarifying the path of truth to the traveler and mentioning some of the secrets of the sciences of those close to Him.
