News of the merits of Omar bin Abdul Aziz bin Marwan This book is a summary of what Ibn al-Jawzi collected on the merits of Omar bin Abdul Aziz after deleting the chains of transmission and repetition from the narrations. He made the book into forty-four chapters. The first chapter: On mentioning his birth, and the forty-fourth chapter: On mentioning his legacy. The chapter titles are in black ink with the venerable pen, some words in red, as well as the breaks of the poetic verses.
