Notes The copy contains only the second part of the book, and it may be a continuation of the previous manuscript No. (old number 3283 Adab 113) because it begins with the lexicalized letter Kha and what is mentioned below it is the beginning of Kha. For example, he says: Al-Khan Baz: Al-Jawhari said (and he always cites those who came before him and quotes their sayings) that it is a fly, and they are two nouns made into one noun and built on a kasra that does not change in the nominative, accusative, or genitive. Ibn Ahmar said: The qal’ al-sawari sprouted above it *** and Khan Baz clapped madly at him. It was said that it is a feline... or a fly that flies in the spring and indicates the fertility of the year.
Sample Text It ends with the completion of what he mentioned under the letter Ya: This is what the purpose of what is achieved in this regard is sufficiency... His draft was completed in the month of Rajab al-Fard in the year 773 AH. He is one of the few authors who mention the date of completion of the draft of their works.
