Notes
The text is followed; It is possible that this footnote is by Ibn Kamal Pasha, as it was mentioned in the book Kashf al-Dhunoun that he had comments on Al-Zamakhshari’s interpretation.
Sample Text
Praise be to God and peace be upon His servants whom He chose. His saying was revealed and the reference of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was revealed. That was in Dhul-Qa’dah, the sixth year of the noble migration, and the conquest in the month of Ramadan, the eighth year. His saying is a number for him by the conquest. This, according to the opinion of the Sunnis, is apparent because it is a report about the creation and achievement of the conquest for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, before it occurred.
