The original is the book “Lubab al-Fiqh” by Abd al-Malik al-Juwayni, and by Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Mahamli, who died in the year 415 AH, “Tanqih al-Lubab” by Burhan al-Din Ibrahim bin Musa al-Karaki, who died in the year 853 AH. Then Judge Zakaria bin Muhammad al-Ansari summarized this revision and called it “Tahrir Tanqih al-Lubab,” then he explained this summary of it and called it “Tuhfat al-Talib,” which is our book.
