“Praise be to God who has guided us to this. We would not have been guided had God not guided us. Indeed, the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth.” When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, informed Regarding God’s preference and selection of him, by saying, peace be upon him: “I was sent from among the best generations of the children of Adam, a generation of ours, until I was one of him.” And by his saying, peace be upon him: “God chose Ishmael from the progeny of Abraham, and chose Kinana from the progeny of Abraham, and chose Kinanah from the progeny of Ishmael, and chose Quraysh from the children of Kinanah, and chose Bani Hashim from the Quraysh, and chose me from the children of Hashim.”
