Notes It is a collection of pieces, most of which consist of two verses or a single verse, stanzas, and selected poems by various poets for different purposes. He wrote at the beginning of it in a handwriting different from the original: “This collection was written by my father, Antoun Mikhail Al-Saqqal, in his youth, may God have mercy on him.” The end of it is a muwashshah of wisdom and proverbs that begins with: You are the one who watered a mustache *** that was lush or dark during the poetry, pages containing paragraphs and prose letters.
