Notes
The author previously wrote an explanation of “Umm al-Barahin” by al-Senussi, and this is a letter to clarify his previous explanation, with some comments in its footnotes. The author is unknown, and what we know about him is that he is called Al-Maqrizi, and he is not Ahmed bin Ali Al-Maqrizi, the famous historian who died in the year 845 AH.

Moreover, over the past years, I have explained the doctrine called “Mother of Proofs,” which is superior despite its small size to the major compilers... an explanation that included a lot of research and investigation... I enriched them with that goal by explaining that it placed its meanings at the extreme end and surrounded its premises like surrounds surround a dove, and yet it is not devoid of some circumstance and jokes from the arts. Whoever stumbled upon it stopped and I called it “Helping the Industrious in Correcting Religion by Explaining the Mother of God.” "proofs"
