Notes It is an explanation of a long poem, composed by the literary writer, Al-Sayyid Al-Ghali Ibn Al-Makki Ibn Ahmad Ibn Sulaiman, Al-Fasi Al-Dar Al-Gharnati of Andalusian origin, who died in the year 1302 AH, in praise of the Alawite state and praising the honor of its genealogy. The story begins by mentioning the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Rightly Guided Caliphs, then he mentions the Umayyad state, then the Abbasids, then the Idrisid state, then the Lamtunids, then the Almohads, then the Banu Marin state, then the Banu Marin state. And Tas, then the Saadian state, then the Alawite state, and its kings were mentioned in succession until the rule of Sultan Moulay Al-Hassan bin Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman in the year 1290 AH, and he was the tenth sultan that the nazim of the poem was contemporary with. The author of the book explains this poem successively until its end, and concludes with a poem he composed in praise of the edifice called Dar es Salaam in Fez, then describes some of the other edifices of Fez. Its contents and arrangement are identical to the previous version (identification number 144614 on the digital portal), beginning and end, and it contains the same addition to the recording of the incidents that it contains, and the speech is also interrupted at the end without a conclusion.
