Notes The book is mentioned in the Poetry Index, p. 88. The copyist is ignorant and sometimes does not differentiate between poetry and prose, and his handwriting is bad. It is devoid of the explanations that we find in the printed matter, and it exceeds the printed poem, a poem by Imru’ al-Qais in more than fifty verses, beginning with: Good morning, you worn-out ruin *** And will he who was in the empty era be blinded?
