Notes	Al-Mouf was born in Baghdad in the year 1235 AH/1820 AD. He is of Kurdish origin. He served as the judicial prosecutor in Baghdad. He has several books, including: Title of the Madd fi Bayan Ahwal Baghdad, Basra, and Najd, The Origins of Good and Bad Horses and Camels, The Highest Rank in Sharh al-Nukhba, Ima’ al-Tullib in the Astrolabe. This is an explanation of the spectral Maqamat of Jalal al-Din Abd al-Rahman al-Suyuti, who died in the year 911 AH/1505 AD, and this copy was written from the author’s copy.
