Notes
Brockelmann attributed it to Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Al-Sufi Al-Ajaimi, the author’s son (Appendix 2/537). The copyist wrote the text generally in black ink, and used red ink to write the titles, “and everything he wanted to clarify” on a newly made ink. At the beginning is an index of the contents of the copy, and at the beginning, middle, and last is the seal of the Habib Kanj Library. This copy of ours was described in the Aligarh Catalog: Descriptive catalog 2/367, briefly, with the same archive number as its copies: See: Brockelmann, Appendix 2/537.

This is the lineage of our master, Professor Sayyed Ahmed Al-Badawi, and his dignity. May God benefit us from him. He is the master, teacher of teachers, the pole of the circle of knowers, a person appointed as the eminent and most powerful saints, the one with the prophetic secret and the chosen moment.
