It appears from the conclusion of the first letter that the commentator of the poem may be from Samarkand and Bukhara, or may have lived in one or both of them, or sought knowledge there. The two letters are the same. It appears that the book was copied before the year 1204 AH.

God willing, we will begin to solve the problems of the poem... His saying (with the descriptions of perfection) means ability, knowledge, life, and the like. His saying (He is not satisfied with the impossible) means disbelief and ugliness, and he wants them from others, meaning that in finding and creating them he is not forced to choose wisdom that is eloquent in creating them.
