He is Mullah Ali bin Mullah Muhammad bin Mullah Mahmoud, who was born in the village of (Ibrahim Awa) in the district of Penjwen around the year 1220 or 1240 AH, otherwise. He read the principles of science with his father, then began to travel and travel between the schools of Kurdistan in order to obtain science. Finally, he traveled with his colleague, Mullah Abdullah Pira Bab, to Baghdad to study with the scholar Mullah Muhammad Faydi Effendi Al-Zahawi, the Mufti of Iraq at that time. They received a warm welcome from him and remained his mentor until he obtained his academic degree. Then he left Baghdad and headed to the village of Tarjan and became a teacher in its school, which was built by Nur al-Nisa Khanum in Saujbalagh (Mahabad). He remained there for forty years, and students flocked to him from all over Kurdistan, and a group of intelligent students graduated under his hands. He also wrote precise scientific dissertations and wrote footnotes for many scientific books. He died, may God have mercy on him, around the year 1296 AH.
