The scribe generally wrote in black ink, and used red ink to write titles, chapters, etc., on newly made kagi. The first includes an index of the book and an explanation of its symbols. It includes a number of comments, interview corrections, and explanations. Its copies: For its many copies and explanations, see: Ruckelmann in its two parts, and among its explanations there are five copies in the Gastropyte in Dublin, and hardly any index is devoid of one of his many explanations.

The weak servant Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Abi Bakr ibn Abd al-Jalil al-Marghinani, may God grant him success because of the beautiful remembrance and abundant treasure it contains, said: It occurred to me at the beginning of my situation that I would have a book on jurisprudence with every type of chapter in it, then it would be small in size and large in drawing and would be snatched away by the beginner.
