Notes	It is an explanation of the history of al-Yamini by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Jabbar, who was known as Abu Nasr al-Utbi, who died in the year 431 AH/1039 AD. The author said that he had read five of the explanations of the history of al-Yamini and wanted to explain it in a way that would solve some of its ambiguities. When his explanation was complete, he presented it to his teacher, the scholar Qutb al-Din al-Shirazi, who approved of it, then ordered him to include the explanation with the text. He responded and wrote a sentence from the text, then explained the words at the end of the book. This copy was written from a copy in the author's handwriting.
