Praise be to God who revealed the rulings... And then... It was narrated that it was revealed in Mecca, which God Almighty honored, and from the fruits of palm trees and grapes you take sugar and good livelihood from it, so the Muslims began to drink it, that is, then Omar and Moaz, may God be pleased with them, said to a group of the Companions, they said, “O Messenger of God, give us fatwa regarding wine.”
