Notes
It was not given its title or the name of its author, but it became clear that it was Al-Barada’i’s commentary by comparing its text with the other versions, despite the difference between its beginnings, as some of them begin with what Haji Khalifa mentioned in Kashf al-Dhunoun, and others begin with the text without an introduction, as is the case here, followed by, in its margins and between its lines, comments and corrections, and after it are five pages with various benefits, as well as on the inside of the lower scroll.
Sample Text
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and by Him we seek help. His saying: Praise be to God, whose existence is necessary, whose counterpart is impossible, other than Him is possible, and others. I say: Know that here are three articles. The first: in explaining the meanings of these names (such in the original, and in other versions of things) and the second: in explaining the method of limitation, and the reason for prioritizing some over others. The first: in explaining the concepts, praise is praise.
