Notes	The manuscript is a continuation of a book whose title and work are unknown. We know from its beginning that it is a commentary on the second chapter of the book “Khulasat al-Hisban.” Before it, on page (317b), there is the beginning of a treatise on working with the astrolabe, by Shams al-Din Abi Abdullah Muhammad bin Abdul Rahim al-Mazzi. It is located on half a page and the rest of it is empty.
Sample Text	Then we have, with the grace and support of God Almighty... honorable comments and nice investigations on the second chapter on algebra and contrast from the book “Khulasat Al-arithb”, which in this art is the heart of the minds. I loved its organization in the field of report... so I say... there must be an explanation of what is appropriate for the place in this goal. Know that the science of arithmetic, as you know it, is the science of how to extract numerical unknowns from their information.
