The author is Jaafar bin Hassan bin Abdul Karim bin Muhammad bin Abdul Rasul al-Barzanji, who died in the year 1177 AH/1764 AD, a jurist, writer, who was born in Medina and gave Shafi’i fatwas there. Among his works, he composed, The Birth of the Prophet. May God bless him and grant him peace, the story of the Ascension, the virtues of the Master of Martyrs Hamzah, the lair of the names of the Badr Companions, and others.
