Notes	Five leaves were omitted from the beginning, and they were replaced by a single sheet of modern handwriting, at the beginning of which was written the title that we have mentioned above, and we did not find such a title in the references we have before us. The authorship of the book in that leaf was attributed to Abd al-Barr, whose truth we have not found either. Is this manuscript the Book of Statement in the Interpretations of the Qur’an by Ibn Abd al-Barr al-Qurtubi? The author's plan is to collect Quranic verses that deal with one topic, in one chapter.
