Notes The author is one of the greatest Arab reciters, and one of the best people in reciting poetry. He excelled in the Umayyad era and used to attend the gatherings of Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan and his son Hisham, a writer and jurist from the people of Herat. He was the judge there, and he died there. He wrote several books, including: Maqamat, Basas al-Qutab, and Majalis al-Muluk. It was said that this arjouza is one of the arjouzas whose verses are all cited in the Arabic language.
