A precious copy. It has footnotes and explanations. It is a book on the evidence and rulings of the Holy Qur’an, arranged by the author into sections. It was printed more than once, the last of which was edited by Muhammad al-Sadiq al-Qamhawi in Cairo. The author is a diligent jurist who is involved in some sciences. He was born in the year 305 AH/918 AD. He returned to Baghdad in his youth. He studied and learned there, and a number of jurists graduated under him. He died in Baghdad in Dhul-Hijjah in the year 370 AH/981 AD. Among his works: Sharh Al-Jami’ Al-Kabir by Al-Shaybani, Al-Tahawi’s commentary on the branches of Hanafi jurisprudence, Sharh Al-Khasaf on the literature of the judge.
