It is a book that is originally divided into ten parts: Part One: A summary of the beginning and correcting the origins of man; Part Two: On the lineage of a son; Part Three: On the Virtues of Qahtan; Part Four: On the ancient biography up to the era of Tuba bin Karb; Part Five: In the middle biography from the first days of Asaad Tuba until the days of Dhu Nuwas; Part Six: On the afterlife to Islam; Part Seven: On warning against false news and impossible stories; Part Eight: In mentioning the palaces of Himyar, its cities, its offices, and the memorized poetry of Alqamah, Al-Madani, and Al-Musanad. Part Nine: On the proverbs of Himyar and their ruling in the Himyari language and the letters of the Musnad. Part Ten: On the knowledge of Hamadan; At the beginning of this copy are quotations and comments by Father Anastas the Carmelite, with explanations and comments in his handwriting.
