The author is Ahmed bin Al-Hussein bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Musa Al-Bayhaqi Al-Khorasani Al-Shafi’i. He was born in Shaban in the year 384 AH/994 AD and died in Niyapur. His coffin was transported to Baihaq and buried there. He traveled in pursuit of knowledge and listening to hadith, and he wrote a lot about it, to the point that it was said that his works amounted to a thousand volumes, including Al-Sunan Al-Kubra in ten volumes, Al-Mabsoot in the texts of Al-Shafi’i, ten volumes, Evidence of Prophethood, Manaqib Al-Shafi’i, Al-Jami’ al-Musannaf fi Shu’ab al-Iman.
