Notes - It is a dictionary that deals with medicines, herbs, plants, stones, drugs, and medicinal materials. It is arranged according to the letters of the dictionary, and it is quoted in many parts of the book “Al-Qanun”: - The section of the relatives of Sheikh Al-Rais Ibn Sina. A handwritten copy, in Naskh script, with the names written in red ink. - It dates back to the Ninth Hijrah, its paper is Tirmidhi (Termah), and in some footnotes there are also comments in Persian, in a different pen. - Gifted from Ali Raafat’s bookcase - in Baghdad. - Al-Aqrabadin, which was mentioned in the form of “Al-Aqrabadin”; A Greek word that means: composition, that is, the compositions of individual medicines and their laws: (Kashf al-Zunun 1: 136). Al-Qifti (“History of the Wise Men”, p. 207) mentioned in the translation of “Sabur bin Sahl” (d. 255 AH) that he was the owner of Bimaristan Jund Yusapur, and he was a distinguished and advanced scholar... and he had a famous and useful book, including the Kitab Aqrabadhin, which was used in the Bimaristans and pharmacists’ shops, twenty-two chapters...”.
