Notes
A precious copy. It has footnotes and explanations. It was written on thin term paper with thick paper. The book is a famous interpretation known as Al-Baydawi’s interpretation. It was printed more than once, the last of which was in Cairo in 1970 AD. In studying the Holy Qur’an, Al-Baydawi based his interpretation on the two great interpretations of Al-Kashshaf by Al-Zamakhshari and the great interpretation of Al-Razi. See Al-Tafsir and its Men by Ibn Ashour, p. 134.

Praise be to God who sent down the Criterion to His servant so that he might be a warner to the worlds. With the shortest of his surahs, he challenged the eloquent Arab preachers... and the eloquent people of Adnan and the eloquent people of Qahtan were so blasphemous that they thought they had been mocked.
