As for what follows, Muslim, may God have mercy on him, narrated in his Sahih.. that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (Religion is sincerity..) So we wrote a treatise covering the foundations of the religion and its branches.. Then when I saw that most of the people had hard hearts.. and it was indicated.. that I should write a treatise on this matter.
