It begins in the second chapter of the Book of Marriage and ends at the end of the book, except that the last part does not agree with the printed matter. The text was generally written in black ink within tables colored with blue and red ink, and the copyist used red ink to write chapters, chapters, and so on. Its copies: Brockelmann mentioned a number of its copies in the various treasure troves in 1/357 and in his appendix 1/608, including a complete precious copy and parts in Jester Beatty in Dublin 5282 and abbreviations from it as well.

During the reign of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, a woman from Banu Amir, with two red cloaks, then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade us. Ibn Shihab said, “I heard Al-Rabi’ bin Sabrah telling that to Omar bin Abdul Aziz while I was sitting, and in a narration on the authority of Omar bin Abdul Aziz, he said, Al-Rabi’ bin Sabrah narrated to me on the authority of his father that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade Mut’ah.”
