Explanation on the book ((Mizan al-Logic)) by a not-yet-known author, in the science of logic and not in the science of morphology, as stated in the preparer’s card. Brockelmann attributed it to Abd al-Hadi bin Illah Dad al-Uthmani al-Talnabi (from whom he requested in al-Anjab) and said: ((It was attributed in the al-Asfiyyah index to al-Haddad, but it is an illusion)) and he mentioned its abrogation. The copyist wrote the text generally in black ink, and used red ink to write the paragraphs only, on a newly made ink. It includes a number of comments, explanations, and corrections. As for what follows, the weak servant who hopes for the mercy of God, the Rich, the Powerful, Abdullah bin Al-Haddad Al-Uthmani Al-Talabi, may God grant him a rank in Paradise, and may He be glorified, bestow pardon and forgiveness upon him, says: Opinions have agreed that the wisdom of the One of Glory and Honor in mastering the mind is his knowledge of the self and the attributes by inferring them with traces and verses, and they are consistent with knowledge.
