A precious copy. It ends with Surah Al-A'raf. It is a book on drawing the Ottoman Qur’ans that were written on the orders of our master Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him. The author is a fundamentalist jurist who participated in a number of sciences. He was born in the year 734 AH/1333 AD. He traveled to Iraq, the Hijaz, Egypt, Damascus, and Palestine and took from their scholars. He was accused in the days of Sultan Barquq of dissolving the faith, so he was imprisoned in the Damascus Citadel, killed, and called the first martyr. Among his works are: Jami` al-Ain, al-Bayan fi al-Fiqh, Ghayat al-Marad fi Sharh Nukat al-Irshad, and others.

Praise be to God, who sent down the best of His books to the best of His messengers, Muhammad the Chosen One, may God bless him and grant him peace, and to his family and companions the keys of guidance, and his companions the lamps of darkness, and blessings and peace be upon His servants whom He chose... As for what follows, the knowledge of what is decreed is for the sake of sciences in value and the greatest of them is religion.
