Notes The copy is unedited, with corrections and comments in its margins. The first sheet has a blurred inscription: “The Sheikh Imam said... Al-Hussein bin Masoud... Abi Al-Fadael... Badr Al-Din Muhammad bin Al-Khatib... Muhammad bin Masoud bin Omar, known... Abi Al-Makarim Al-Qazwini, nicknamed... known as the grandson of Al-Attar....” In other words: “...Yahya...and my father...Abu Al-Majd Muhammad bin...” It contains the phrase: “The late Sultan.” The title was mentioned in the first sheet, and the date of composition was mentioned in the last sheet. At the end of the book is an additional small paper containing benefits.
Sample Text In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the recitation of “Kahya’as” is an oath by which God Almighty swore, or it is one of His great names, by tilting the ha and the ya’ and by opening them and making them between between, and by opening the ha and tilting the ya and by tilting the ha and opening the ya in all languages, and it was read by cutting off the letters and pausing on each of them to show one of them from the other for the call to prayer that they were originally letters.
