Notes	The book is an index of the aforementioned Ibn Ghazi (the author of Al-Rawd Al-Hatun), who resided in Fez at that time. He begins it by mentioning four of the scholars of Tlemcen who wrote to him requesting the approval of the scholars of Fez for them, a general, absolute, and complete approval in all their narrations and narrations, and the sum of what they carry from their distinguished sheikhs in terms of sciences and their classifications, and all the rest of what is authentically attributed to them, whether read or heard...etc. Then Ibn Ghazi mentions his studies and his sheikhs and what he took from each of them. Among them, and the books he read, and the chains of transmission of some of these books, and his serials, all of that in comprehensive detail. This is followed by the chapter entitled “The Reasoning for the Forms of Attribution,” in which it is mentioned that Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Muhammad, the descendant of Al-Khatib Ibn Marzouq Al-Ajaisi, had sent his son to him with an absolute general authorization, containing what was permissible for him and from him to narrate, whether read or heard, and from the arts, such as prose and oppressed...etc. There are copies of it in: Esc. D 1725 within 1677 and 1720 Esc. C.
