It is a bisection of the poem called Al-Kawkab Al-Durrah in praise of Khair Al-Bariyyah, known as the poem Al-Burda, composed by Sharaf Al-Din Abi Abdullah Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Busiri. He died in the year 696. The beginning of which is: “Amen remind neighbors of Dhi Salam *** mixed with tears that flowed from an eyeball with blood.” It was transferred from a copy read by the author of the bisection himself in the year 1205. It was read to him and written by Muhammad al-Khalil ibn Ali al-Muradi, the mufti in the Levant.
