Sample Text	Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, said: If a free man commits a crime against a slave intentionally, there is no retaliation between them. If the crime is committed against himself, then his value is in the hour in which he committed the crime against him, with the crime occurring as severe as it was. If the blood money is for free people and its value is in the property of the offender and not his family member, and if he commits a crime against him by mistake, then its value is on the family member of the offender, and if the crime is against a female slave or slave, the same applies to their value.
